The mission of [nlcf] is to invest in spiritual growth, invite others to follow Jesus and inspire each other to change the world.
Pregnancy Resource Center
[nlcf] recently began working with the Pregnancy Resource Center of the NRV. Members of the [nlcf] community have participated in various fundraisers such as the Walk for Life, 8K Run, and the Baby Bottle Campaign. [nlcf] is partnering with the PRC to create an “Adopt a Family” program that would allow [nlcf] members to reach out and help meet the needs of local families who may be having a difficult time.
Anyone can participate in this “Adopt a Family” program, at any level. There are a variety ways that we can help support women or couples who are facing a challenging time in their life:
- Hosting a baby shower with gifts
- Moms and Dads on call for this family to offer advice
- Offering free babysitting once the child is born
- Regular play dates for the mother and child with other moms in our church
