Downtown Women

None of us have a whole lot of extra time lying around. We’re women- we balance everything from kids, to work, to husbands, to school, to neighbors, to hobbies and activities, and generally keeping the world in its constant and necessary spin around the sun. Yet we need each other- to give and receive encouragement, to share experiences, to laugh and to support one another in our unique roles. We also need to hear from God and His Word when it comes to the gift of being a female in this time and place! So we created a group where some of this can happen.

We get together about once a month and have different topics each time that we focus on. From identity to spiritual formation to love and marriage to hospitality and organization, there’s a lot to talk about!

Our goals are to 1. Get to know each other better church-wide and 2. Support each other in our different roles as women, learning from scripture and each other’s experiences.

You can find us at www.nlcfdowntownwomen.blogspot.com any day of the week, and jump into what we’ve got going on.  It will be great to have you!
