Mom’s Connect

We are very excited to announce [nlcf]‘s new mom’s ministry called Moms Connect!  The purpose of Moms Connect is to provide opportunity for friendship, community, and support among moms both in NLCF and in the local community.  It’s open to all moms (with little kids or older kids) and moms-to-be!  We hope that you will join us and invite your friends!

There are three parts to Moms Connect:

First, a weekly gathering on Tuesday mornings.
Come with your kids and  feel free to bring a snack to share!  The kids can play together while the moms chat!  The kids will love playing and you’ll love talking to other adults!  We meet at 130 Jackson as well as rotating houses, so be sure to contact Kristen (email below) and check our blog.

Second, a monthly Mom’s Night Out.
Especially if you can’t come to the Tuesday gatherings, we hope that you can join us for Mom’s Night Out!  We’ll plan an evening out to a local restaurant for all moms to come and relax and have fun with each other!

Third, the Mom’s Connect page on the Downtown Women’s blog.
Updates, announcements, and topics related to mommyhood are posted pretty regularly on our Mom’s Connect page on the blog.  You can find it here!
