Ministries

Hey!  We’re excited that you’re checking out [nlcf]!

There are many reasons why it is good to get involved in your church community: fellowship, growth, accountability, and encouragement. It is also just as important to participate in serving with the Church. One of the great things about the body of Christ is that we have each been given gifts and talents to use for building up the Church.

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ … Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”  Ephesians 4: 11-13 & 15-16

Thankfully, at [nlcf], there are lots of ways to get involved.  Take some time, look around, and see how you might want to get involved.  Someone will happily connect with you to help you on your way!  And if you’re not sure how you’d like to get involved or have any questions, please contact Kristal Poff so that she can help you find a good fit.

community gatherings

Our goal is to gather weekly for high-quality, innovative services to meet with God, discover and apply the depths of scripture, experience community, and invite friends to investigate and experience Jesus. We need people to serve as:

Worship Team

Sound Engineer

Powerpoint Team

Lighting

HUG (Hospitality, Ushers, Greeters)

Video Team

Set-up Tear-down (STUD)

And in this corner we are looking for people who want to be a major part of the discipleship process. This team helps to take people from the early stages of investigating Christ all the way to deep spiritual maturity. We need folks to be:

glocal mission

Jesus calls us to go and make disciples of all nations, to help the sick, poor, hungry, and oppressed like He did. We aspire to think and act on this commission both globally and locally, hence the fabrimicated word: glocal. Here are a few of our current opportunities:
