ANGEL TREE INFO.
For those that picked up an ANGEL (for Angel Tree) this past Sunday … below are the directions and a couple of reminders! Thanks so much.
- Please only purchase the gift that is written on the child’s angel card. Many of the children belong to sibling groups and the amount of gifts given to each child needs to remain consistent.
- Please wrap gift and peel off the back of the angel and adhere to the wrapped gift. Please do not put any other labels on the gift as it is from the parent and the angel has the written message from the parent on it.
- Each child has 2 angels; a clothing and a non-clothing gift. If you have sponsored both gifts, please wrap as 2 separate gifts using the 2 separate angels as gift labels.
- You wil receive an email asking what was purchased in order to communicate to the parent what was purchased on his/her behalf for their child, please respond to this email!! (or email the information to jstaats@vt.edu.)
- If anyone would like to join the Williams family as they deliver presents, post a comment. Of the last three Christmases, Dave’s most vivid memory is the adventure of finding these kids whose pops are in jail to bring them their presents.
