Jim Pace

Jim Pace has been on staff since 1996. Yes, he is old. He and his wife Tracy have been married for 15 years and have three kids: Noah (13) Seth (11) and Emma (10). Jim received his bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from Virginia Tech in 1994 and has had the interesting trajectory of not having a Seminary Degree (although he has read almost all the books that several degrees require), but he has been on a panel that has helped develop a Master’s program in Ministry for a Seminary. Seems backwards, but that is how Jim rolls.

His role at [nlcf] is called the Lead Navigator. He focuses much of his time on helping to see that the church accomplishes what Jesus has called us to do. He disciples and works with leaders from both the campus and downtown congregations, and speaks just about 1/2 the time. He also connects with many other churches and movements.

In his spare time he enjoys time with his family and friends, exercise, reading, and trying to write more books than Matt Rogers. So far the score is Jim (1 written and working on second) and Matt Rogers (2 written, working on third).

I realize I am still fairly young / but I have seen enough to know that what I have experienced with God is real / and one of the greatest desires I have is for people to know that God feels toward them the same way he feels toward me.
